TS POLYCET notification admission entrance test notification released for admission in to polytechnic diploma courses. This Polytechnic entrance test is named as POLYCET in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh states.

The State Board of Technical Education and Training, Hyderabad will be conduct TS POLYCET Entrance Test .

Ranks in TS POLYCET Polytechnic Admission Entrance Test
Two ranks will be allotted to the candidates appeared POLYCET.
a) Admissions will be given in Diploma level programs offered in Government, Government-Aided, Private, Un-Aided polytechnic colleges in Telangana State.
b) Diploma courses offered by Professor Jayashankar Telangana State Agricultural University (PJTSAU) both in University and affiliated polytechnic colleges in Telangana state.

The candidates who are willing join 3 year diploma courses are informed to fill and submit the online applications made available in polycet official website by the Board of Technical Education and Training, Telangana, Hyderabad.
Eligibility to appear POLYCET Polytechnic Common Entrance Test
Candidates who have passed SSC or its equivalent examination recognized by the Board of Secondary Education, TS, Hyderabad are eligible to apply.

Fees for POLYCET Polytechnic Common Entrance Test
The candidates belonging to SC/ST shall pay Rs 250/- and candidates of non SC/ST shall pay Rs 400/-
How to pay Fees for POLYCET Polytechnic Common Entrance Test
The prescribed fee shall be paid through online using Credit Card/Debit Card/Net banking in the official website of POLYCET before filling the online application form.
Fee once paid will not be refunded in any circumstances.

Eligibility Criteria to appear for POLYCET
a) Candidate shall be an Indian National.
b) Candidate should belong to the State of Telangana /Andhra Pradesh as defined in G.O.(P).No. 646, Education (W) Dept., dated 10-07-1979 and in the subsequent amendments.
c) Candidates should have passed S.S.C. Examination conducted by State Board of Secondary Education, Andhra Pradesh/ Telangana or any other examination recognized as equivalent thereto by the Board of Secondary Education, A.P/TS. such as Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), Indian Council for Secondary Education (ICSE), National Institute of Open School (NIOS), Telangana Open School Society (TOSS), A.P. Open School Society (APOSS), X class examination conducted by various State Boards of Secondary Education in India with Mathematics as one of the subjects, and obtained atleast 35% marks in the qualifying examination.
d) Candidates belonging to NIOS/TOSS/APOSS/CBSE/ICSE/OTHER Examinations recognized as equivalent to SSC by Telangana State SHOULD HAVE PASSED ALL THE SUBJECTS including Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, with minimum of 35% Marks in each subject.
e) Candidates who appeared or are appearing for SSC or equivalent examination being held in March/April-2020, and whose results are yet to be declared can also appear for POLYCET-2020.
f) There is no age restriction for appearing for POLYCET-2020. However maximum eligible age for obtaining a scholarship, the guidelines issued in Memo No. 10537/SW(Edn.2)/2011, and those issued from time to time by Social Welfare (Edn.) Department shall apply.
Eligibility Criteria for Agriculture Courses of PJTSAU:
The candidates who have higher education 10+2 or above are not eligible.
candidate should studied for a minimum period of 4 years in schools located in Non-Municipal areas during their period of study from 1st class to 10th class (any four years).
As of now, the Diploma courses offered by the University are not equal to Intermediate or any other vocational courses offered by Board of Intermediate education, Telangana and Andhra Pradesh.

Candidates belonging to NIOS/TOSS/APOSS/CBSE/ICSE/OTHER Examinations recognized as equivalent to S.S.C. by Telangana State SHOULD HAVE PASSED ALL THE SUBJECTS including Mathematics, Biology, Physics, Chemistry with minimum of 35% Marks in each subject.
In respect of the Diploma Courses offered by PJTSAU, the candidates for admission into Polytechnic Diploma Courses in the PJTSAU shall be required to have completed 15 years of age as on the year of admission with an upper age limit of 22 years (Born in between 31-12-1998 and 31-12-2005).
